Representative William H. Bailey will attend the Emergency HCGOP Executive Committee Meeting Tuesday November 30 2021 at 6:00pm.

The HCGOP is honored to announce that Representative William H. Bailey of District 104 will attend the Emergency HCGOP Executive Committee Meeting this evening at The Journey Church of Myrtle Beach. Representative Bailey will give his perspective related to health care mandates, potential SC legislation and legislative processes, and to answer our questions, prior to the HCGOP consideration of the resolution in the link below.

Please join us at the previously announced time and date, Tuesday evening November 30 2021, for a special convening of the Executive Committee, where we will consider a time sensitive resolution to Stop Vaccine Mandates. As mentioned in previous communications, our normal location at General Robert H Reed Recreation Center is unavailable, and the special meeting will instead be held at The Journey Church of Myrtle Beach, located at 10125 Hwy 17 Bypass Suite 18, Murrells Inlet, SC 29575 within Inlet Square Mall. Please note the new location for our emergency meeting this evening.

The meeting location can be accessed via entry into the mall on the Highway 17 Business side at the former Books-A-Million area.

As with past meetings, sign-in will begin at 5:30pm and the meeting will start at 6:00pm. Due to the new location, which will be a bit of a longer travel time for some members, our start time may be delayed somewhat to accommodate potential traffic delays.

For those Executive Committeemen unable to attend, please reach out to and designate with a written proxy, a member of your precinct, if at all possible, in order that your precinct is represented in this important matter.

The resolution to be considered during our meeting is available at this link.

Wreath Sponsorship for our Fallen Military Heroes

Yesterday evening, the HCGOP had the honor to host the Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina www.bluestarmothersofcoastalcarolina.com, a non-profit led by Parents who have children serving our country in the United States Armed Forces, and serves to support one another, provide support to our troops, and promote patriotism in our community. The Blue Star Mothers touched the hearts of many of our members at our EC meeting yesterday and they desperately need our help to ensure the placement of a Christmas wreath at each Veteran gravesite in the Florence National Cemetery. They need sponsorship for 13,000 wreaths and please help them avoid choices of graves to receive a wreath, due to a shortfall. Please take action and donate what you can to help this incredibly worthy cause and to honor our fallen military heroes. The deadline for donations to meet Christmas is November 18 2021. Links and instructions to sponsor a wreath or multiple wreaths are found below.

Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival

We were able to recruit nearly twenty new members to the HCGOP at the Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down event on September 18 2021. Historians within our party have claimed that this is a new record for recruitment by a wide margin, and we owe this success to the numerous committee members who organize and manage our events. A special recognition of gratitude goes out to Elizabeth Caton and her extraordinary efforts to plan and deliver this successful event.
